UK Fire Service Resources has no official connection with any of the UK Fire and Rescue Services, and is ran as an unofficial site, by operational firefighters, on a voluntary basis.

We are therefore not to be classed as a central contact point for any UK Fire and Rescue Service or associate, whatsoever.
If you wish to contact your local fire and rescue service, then a full list can be found here.

Please do not email us for the following -:

• Application Forms or Packs.
• Recruitment Packs.
• Location of Retired or Ex Firefighters.
• Any other literature that requires posting.
• Asking to be manually added to our mailing list, this can be done via the site.
• Asking to be notified when a brigade is recruiting, also done via the site.

You will in most cases need to contact your local Fire and Rescue Service direct as we simply do not have the resources or funds, to post out the above items.

Fire Safety Advice

If your query is regarding fire safety within business premises, you need to speak with the Fire Safety Officer based at your local Fire and Rescue Service. Fire Safety Officers are far more qualified to answer your concerns and are up to date on current legislation.

If your query is in respect of Fire Safety within the home, we suggest you request to have a free Home Fire Risk Assessment carried out by your local Fire and Rescue Service. More information can be found within our Fire Safety Section.

Students Studying Public Services

If you are studying Public Services then please do not email us with your questions or requests. We simply do not have the resources to answer the large amount of emails we receive in respect of this subject. The site contains 100s of pages of information, which we are sure will answer all your questions if you take the time to search.

Recruitment Information

If you have any recruitment questions, we suggest you visit our recruitment section paying particular attention to the Frequently Asked Questions section. If your question is of a Medical nature, we regret that we do not have the knowledge to answer these questions, and they should be directed to the Occupational Health section of the Fire and Rescue Service you are applying to.

The information on the site is constantly changing and being updated. Any email requesting any of the above will not be replied to. All other genuine emails are more than welcome and we will try to answer them within 48 hours, usually sooner.
