Members of the Borough Management Team in which Steve serves felt it was time to lead from the front and commit to taking part in the Great Wall of China Charity Trek in 2009.
Therefore Ian Bailey, Brian Wiggans and Steve Parkinson will all be taking part in the event to hopefully raise much needed funds for the charity.
The trek is taking place from 27th March - 5th April 2009 and the Borough Officers will be part of a group all raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity and will be accompanied by an experienced trek leader.
Donations and sponsorship to the fund will ensure that not only Steve Morris, but any firefighter and family members that need the support of the charity will continue to do so, now and in the future.
