Queens Golden Jubilee Medal
The Queens Golden Jubilee Medal was awarded to any member of the ‘front line’ emergency services, accessed via the telephone number 999, who had completed a minimum of 5 years reckonable service on 6 February 2002. The emergency services include the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services, the Coastguard, Royal National Lifeboat Institution and Mountain Rescue Services.
Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal
The Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal is given to emergency services personnel who have been in paid service, retained or in a voluntary capacity, who have to face the prospect of dealing with emergencies as part of their conditions of service, and had completed five full calendar years of service on 6 February 2012.
Queens Platinum Jubilee Medal
The Queens Platinum Jubilee Medal is given to emergency services personnel who have been in paid service, retained or in a voluntary capacity, who have to face the prospect of dealing with emergencies as part of their conditions of service, and had completed five full calendar years of service on 6 February 2022.
Long Service / Good Conduct Medal
The Long Service and Good Conduct medals are awarded to members of the fire and rescue service who have completed 20 years meritorious service.
King Charles III Coronation Medal
The King Charles III medal will be awarded to all frontline emergency personnel who have been in paid service, retained or in a voluntary capacity, dealing with emergencies as part of their conditions of service, and completed five full calendar years of service on 6 May 2023.
